All Fragment & Data Box Locations in Subnautica 2
Complete guide to all Subnautica 2 fragment and data box locations. 31 fragment spawns across 14 blueprints plus 25 data boxes with coordinates.
Finding fragments and data boxes is how you unlock new blueprints in Subnautica 2. This guide covers every known fragment spawn point and data box location to help you complete your blueprint collection.
How Fragments Work
Fragments are scannable objects scattered across the ocean. Each blueprint requires scanning a specific number of fragments (usually 2-3) to unlock the recipe. Fragments of the same type are often found in the same general area.
Tips:
- Use the Scanner to scan fragments — the Survival Multitool cannot scan
- Fragments glow with a distinct light, making them visible from a distance
- Some fragments require the Sonic Resonator to access
- Check wreck interiors and caves for hidden fragments
